I
am a big fan of games. Today I will share some of my knowledge and
experience using one of the console that Xbox 360 with Kinect sensor. I
had own the game for a few years already now. It helps me keep in shape
and having fun all at the same time.
The
Kinect sensor is a narrow bar with camera, a microphone and 3D sensors
on a mount that you plug into your Xbox console and position above or
below your TV screen, it tracks your movements and interprets hand
gestures as commands. The system allows you to navigate through games
and video using the Kinect Hub interface, although it also comes with a
controller.

Kinect
for the Xbox 360 is much better suited for exercise games. The reason
is that Kinect games use the entire body. You're constantly running,
jumping, and moving. Kinect Adventures is the game that comes with the
Kinect. It's a fun game. The obstacle course level is the one that
really got me tired. You're constantly jumping, ducking, and dodging.
I
also have Kinect Sports. That game is probably my second favorite
Kinect game. There are six games within this game. It has soccer,
bowling, volleyball, boxing, track and field, and ping pong.
I
don't normally like dancing, but I like playing Dance Central. It has a
built-in calorie counter, so you can use it as a workout. And it will
give you a good workout. If you have a Kinect, use it for Cardio. When
exercise is fun, you're more likely to keep doing it. If exercise is
boring, you're not going to stick to it
A
study published in the Archives of Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine
used 18 children ages 11 to 15 as sample tried out boxing and dancing on
Kinect for the Microsoft Xbox 360. They found that the games increased
calorie-burning by 150 percent for the game Dance Central and 263
percent for Sports Boxing, which burned up to 172 extra calories per
hour compared with when they were sitting and playing a traditional
video game.
So people, i really suggest you should get this piece of the technology
at home and start "kinecting". you will be surprise with what you get
from the experience. until then, have blast for you all out there.
